Below are some of the plant pests and diseases found on Maui. Use the filters to sort the pests and diseases by the species affected and the symptom (s). 

Some pests and diseases – such as Rapid ‘Ōhi‘a Death –  are priority response species for MISC. If you find a priority MISC species, report it! Thanks to our funders, crews will take action on priority species at no cost to you. For other pests, we’ve provided resources to help you take action on your own property.

MISC priority response species are selected by our committee based on impact, distribution, feasibility of control, and resource availability.
